In today's global marketplace the Internet, as a marketing, communication, and transactional platform, has been integrated into almost every organization's business model. The Internet has allowed business-to-business and business-to-consumer relationships to soar to new heights and has transformed many organizations into e-businesses. An e-business is defined as an organization that connects critical business systems and processes directly to key customers, employees, suppliers and distributors using the Web (the Internet, intranets and extranets).
